Last Wednesday, I wrote this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I decided to give you guys a little update. Everything started great Thursday, I was getting the parts and she was going in a appointment in the meanwhile that was in the same area. She pays me dinner for using my gas, and we talked about cars mostly...right until she talked about her ex. He sounded like a mega douche from what she told me BUT he's a Rx7 FD (gave me hopes) and modded Civic owner. We were going to see a Prelude I saw on sale for her and she told me, can we get a friend to check it out too? Am like ok sure. Her friend was the ex...As soon as I got there, all I see is the ex's dog running and picking a fight with two rottweilers. The ex ran, caught the dog and created a big ass scene in the area. Everything cleared out and I waited 1h until the guy finally decided to go check the Prelude with us. While we go there, the guy talks loud and talks shit about how his civic is awesome and that FR-S are shit because he can kill them with his modded civic on drags. Right there I told him "you're missing the complete point of the FR-S! It's for corners!" He respond with "well the FR-S is shit because it's not 50/50 distribution. My Rx7 would kill the FR-S in the corners". He was a lost cause. The guy was dealing drugs over the phone in my car for god sake!

We finally arrived...I saw the car and noted everything I see bad in my head, but the ex turned into a VTEC knowledge freak and went down on the car like an ape. Started testing the suspension by pushing the car back and forth, tested if there was a bearing play, revving the engine like he was trying to blow it almost like he took speed or something. Then there was some rust spots...he actually tried to create a hole and make it worst while testing it. THE CAR IS NOT HER'S YET! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU??? but this was nothing. We we're in a big parking lot, she took it for a test drive. It went fine. He then took it for a test drive...dude thought he was in a autocross event! He pushed the car to the point that the tires went almost bald, keeping the first gear and driving at redline like an idiot, and guess what? There was cops around and they ran after him. He jumped out of the car saying "Am just testing the car! Am just testing the car! I had to check if the VTEC kicks.". I facepalmed myself for real there. In the end...the car had a things to fix, the rust was troublesome and to my opinion, she could get better. So I called the deal off.
I went back to her place late at night after dropping the ex and started to fix up the car with the new parts. I thought it could not go even more downhill...but it did. First off...the "friend" that gave my number (a nutcase really) and a unknown guy showed up. The guy was apparently her boyfriend...and I tried to make a conversation with him. He...was distant in the head, really distant. For example, he saw me wrenching on the engine, he told me (in a slow almost uncomprehensive french) I used to do the same thing when I was working as a body repairer. ME: wait...you we're a body repairer and you worked on engines? HIM: No no I was using this thing. ME: The ratchet? HIM: Yeah ME:...ok...so why did you quit? HIM: I dunno...I thought it was a dangerous job and I quit. ME: ok....*continues work* . I've done what I could but the engine still didn't start and I had no time so I left...but before I left, the friend (nutcase) actually encouraged me to steal that girl from the boyfriend because she deserves better. Next day I did a little check up late at night and now I know what wrong, that day went great with her btw! Am going back tomorrow or Tuesday.
